MEET THE AUTHOR
Ben Jeapes is the author of three novels His Majesty's Starship / The Ark, Wingèd Chariot and The Xenocide Mission. His Majesty's Starship was the first novel to see the light of day, and believe me, all previous attempts are going to stay under lock and key for a long time to come. In 1993 he sent in a proposal for a Doctor Who novel to Virgin Publishing, and in a parallel universe, it was accepted and led to a totally different career path.
In this universe, however, it was rejected, which meant he decided to continue with the first tentative chapters of His Majesty's Starship which he had already begun writing. And very happy he is about it, too. Doctor Who novels aren't half as much fun.
However, he is not just a novelist: he has had numerous short stories published since 1990 ...
